I’m Lara, the human behind the words. I’m an ambitious, organised and creative storyteller with meticulous attention to detail and a holistic approach to content. I’m passionate about purpose-driven brands, with a particular interest in wellness, beauty, gut health and sustainability. I help to tell brand stories with an empathetic, natural voice and inspire curiosity on complex topics by making them relatable and digestible.
Now based in Bristol, I lived in London for 9 years, starting my career in PR for luxury fashion brands including Dior, Jimmy Choo and Mulberry. I moved into social media and content at Larsson & Jennings, where I fell in love with storytelling. While my personal interest in health grew, I honed my copywriting skills at YOOX Net-A-Porter Group and Orlebar Brown. After a sudden bereavement gave me perspective on my career, it was time to merge my passion for wellbeing with my work. I dived head-first into health and wellness at groundbreaking supplements brand The Nue Co., where I learned the science behind sleep, stress, skin, gut health and more, and have never looked back.
I joined PANGAIA to help launch their experimental Superfoods division, then went freelance full-time in 2022 to work with numerous exciting brands in the health and beauty industries.
